    Have Fun and Get Creative!

    Everyone is creative, and there are so many ways to show it! You don’t need to make a perfect piece of art – just try new things, experiment, and play with ideas.

    Diverse Techniques: Experiment with a variety of artistic styles and mediums, guided by our fun, caring, inspiring instructors.

  • Term 2: Clay Hand-Building (Weeks 1-4)

    LAST CHANCE COURSE WILL FINISH Discover the art of clay hand-building in this beginner-friendly class. Over four weeks, you’ll learn essential techniques, including:

    Hand-building skills: Pinch pot, slab, coil, and joining methods.

    Decorating techniques: Underglaze, glazing, and surface design methods like sgraffito, transfers, and stencilling.

    Materials:

    A Clay Tool Kit is required for this class. Simply add at time of booking.

    1 block of clay is included in the course fee.

    Perfect for anyone looking to explore creative clay techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment!

  • Artventure! A Creative Journey for Ages 10-15

    Dive into a world of creativity and self-expression with Artventure, an engaging 8-week art course designed to inspire young artists aged 10-15. This course brings together four talented teachers, each specializing in a unique artistic discipline, to guide students through a rich and varied program.

    What to Expect

    Interactive Learning: Students will actively engage with each teacher, practicing new skills and techniques in a supportive and fun environment.

    Creative Exploration: Each session is designed to spark curiosity and encourage experimentation across a variety of mediums.

    Skill Development: The course builds foundational art skills while helping students develop their unique style.

    Collaborative Fun: Group activities and projects foster teamwork, friendship, and shared inspiration.

  • Flourish in Watercolour: Botanicals & Frida-Inspired Florals

    Weeks 1-4: Foundations of Watercolour
    Learn essential watercolour techniques, textures, and composition through botanical studies. Explore colour mixing, layering, and brush control, culminating in a finished piece.

    Weeks 5-8: Frida Kahlo-Inspired Flower Crowns
    Study Frida Kahlo’s use of colour and symbolism. Sketch, design, and paint a unique flower crown composition, refining it into a completed artwork.

  • Oil Painting With Creativity And Confidence

    Raylene is an experienced art teacher, renowned in the world of Textile Art. She brings a wealth of knowledge and techniques to her classroom, teaching in a step-by-step manner to ensure a manageable learning experience.

    This course provides an introduction to oil painting, focusing on paint application rather than drawing.

    Key concepts include:

    Basic colour theory and composition

    Colour mixing and value relationships

    Tonal underpainting

    Attention to detail

  • Slow Stitching

    Join Raylene, a seasoned textile artist, for a four-week journey into the timeless art of slow stitching.

    This mindful practice invites you to embrace the joy of stitching one step at a time, focusing on creativity and relaxation rather than speed or perfection. Slow stitching offers a meditative and therapeutic experience, allowing you to unwind while creating something truly beautiful.

    In this class, students will paint a simple Frida portrait on fabric, then embellish it with embroidery, applique, and collage techniques. You can choose to explore one or all of these options. By the end of the course, you may choose to transform your design into a cushion cover or attach it to a piece of clothing, refining your skills and creating a unique, wearable piece of art inspired by Frida Kahlo.

  • Graphite

    Join Caitlin for a class where you'll delve into the art of pencil drawing. Master the subtleties of graphite pencils, from light sketching to rich, detailed renderings.

    Learn advanced techniques for texture and shading, with one-on-one guidance to help refine your style. By the end of the Course, you'll have a solid grasp of graphite drawing techniques and a small portfolio of work to showcase your progress.
